  • 69. How to Be More Authentic Online

Are you showing up fully? Chances are you aren't and the reason why is simple...

You're afraid to be yourself and be seen, heard, or even called on for the help you can deliver to someone else.

Instead of being y.o.u., you filter, script, and stuff yourself in a box that someone else believes you should fit in.

Leaving you wondering why sometimes it feels so hard to show up.

In this episode, I have 3 tips to help you be more authentic in the online space:

    1. Determine who you are by making a list of characteristics about yourself that you love most.
    2. Do the work--invest the time and energy necessary to sharpen your skills. This will ultimately help you build more confidence in yourself.
    3. Know who it is that you want to connect with. Don't give people the "first date," version of you--give them the person that they'll be working with once they're in your sphere of influence.

Your business is all about how you help someone else solve a problem, so deliver the solution without any apology.

And in the end of every day, the reminder is...not everyone is going to like you, buy from you, or support you--so why waste time being anything but yourself?

Stepping into your truest self will help you become a magnet for others because you will be being yourself and people feel that.
