Today I want to discuss the emotional burden of caring too much for your patients. You can't let your mistakes get to you - we all make them! You have to find the balance where you aren't completely emotionally invested while making sure your patients aren't just another number.

I also want to talk about caring for patients who don't seem to care about themselves. Going into medicine is tough - but if you really want to do it, you will. If you don't, you wont. It's all about your state of mind.
