In this episode we welcome Paddy Lowe, one of Formula 1’s most successful technical directors, having led the technical team at McLaren and then joining Mercedes to help deliver those remarkable championship successes when Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were teammates.  Paddy Lowe is one of the most respected, award-winning engineers in Formula 1, today he has also reinvented himself as an entrepreneur, launching Zero Petroleum, a company which makes synthetic fuel from air and water – a pretty remarkable story.  Paddy sat down with our own Mark Gallagher at the recent Adelaide Motorsport Festival to talk about Zero, Formula 1 and his experiences at the very sharp end of the sport – you’ll hear plenty of engine noise in the background, but hopefully, that will just add to the atmosphere and not prove too distracting
