Pardon My American

We open the discussing how food just taste's better when you put a little love into it. We look at how fast food restaurants are so shitty and if a little time was taken how much better things would be. like most things in life, we tend to take things for granted. If we would stop and appreciate thing a little more and put a little more effort and pride into it, it would make all the difference.

We end the show with some thought provoking questions. If your deaf, in what language do you think? If you could travel to any time period, what would you change? What regrets do you have as a child if any?

We start the show bouncing off of Brass Tacks to talk about Stanford's New rules on language, we are no longer "Americans." Which somehow leads to us discussing eating habits when it comes to nuts and seeds.

The FBI reimbursed Twitter to the tune of more than $3 million as it pushed the social media company to ban accounts and target so-called “foreign influence” operations, the latest installment of the “Twitter Files” revealed on Monday.

Among the words the university urges people to avoid in the imprecise language section is the term, "American." People are instead asked to use "U.S. Citizen" because "American" typically refers to "people from the United States only, thereby insinuating that the US is the most important country in the Americas."

On Thursday, December 1st 2022, Kanye West was suspended from Twitter. Media reported that the suspension came after West posted a picture of a swastika inside the Star of David. Elon Musk stated that this violated Twitter's rules for inciting violence.  However, internet sleuths quickly pointed out that the picture Kanye posted was the symbol of a religious UFO sex cult called The International Raelian Movement.

Why would Elon suspend Kanye’s account over a religious symbol?

Twitter on Thursday evening banned the accounts of several high-profile journalists from the nation’s top news organizations, marking a significant attempt by new owner and self-described free speech absolutist Elon Musk to wield his unilateral authority over the platform to censor the press.
