Have you noticed your children giving up easily? stopping activities he or she used to like? moaning about how seemingly simple exercises become a battle field for them to attempt? Children tend to enjoy being in their comfort zone of safety, specially if they feel they will be judged by their relevant adults (teacher or parents mainly) or peer group. They quickly develop a fear of failing which makes not trying a real solution. If I don't try, I don't fail. While, at the same time, I will get enough positive praise by doing things I know I can achieve.
In this episode I want to share with you the wider part of the situation, what we do, what our children do and feel. I also want to share with you how I help my young clients step out of their comfort zone and little by little attempt new things gaining confidence in the process.
