My Guest, Jane Wolf Frances t, is a psychotherapist, attorney, author, coach, trainer, speaker and blogger, who has written an extraordinary & greatly needed road map about how to prepare and how to manage when our parents need us to help by parenting them. This is an experience which will happen for most of us at some point. The book is very engaging and shares her story and that of her parents, but also brings us into view as she shares potential hazards, insights and tips about what we might expect as our parents morph from the people we have always known and probably depended on, into frail and dependent people, who are strangers to us. We will discuss Jane’s shock of first realizing that while she was living and growing her life and career, her parents had hit a roadblock of illness that threw them both into a hell of exhaustion, confusion and terror. They held the information from her because of fear. It is those fears and the realities they brought Jane that we will discuss.
