Don Veinot is Co-Founder and President of Midwest Christian Outreach, a national apologetics ministry and mission to new religious movements. He has been involved in apologetics ministry for over 3 decades and is a charter member of the International Society of Christian Apologetics. He is also a staff researcher and writer for the Midwest Outreach Journal.Revelation 17 tells about a one-world religion which will dominate peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. In Revelation 13 we are told of the antichrist, the false prophet, the beast, and how everyone will be required to worship them.With such diversity in our world's religions, how is it that all the world will come together in a single religion? You may or may not be aware; this past August 14th thru the 18th, the Parliament of World Religions was held in Chicago, IL with A Call to Conscience which brought together over 95 countries and thousands of people from many faith organizations. It was dubbed by its Executive Director "a week of joy and celebration." This year marked the most internationally attended convening in their history. Don Veinot attended this event and is reporting on what transpired.
