We speak about what it is really like to be young and widowed, with them both losing their partners under the age of 30. The layers of being a young carer when you yearn to be cared for yourself, grieving not only for the person who has died but for the future you had planned or dreamed of together, and sex! Now sex in the partner loss world is something I've come to learn is something that many widows will feel some shame about talking about. The fear of being judged for wanting to have a sex life after a partner has died is immense and in this episode Jess & Rachel absolutely shatter that taboo.
