The enemy has hijacked Christmas. We get overwhelmed with stress, anxiety and frustration. We forget that this holiday is one to celebrate and honor You, Lord. Family feuds run rampant. We forget the wondrous supernatural miracle of You sending Your only son to earth as a baby… To be God incarnate, to live alongside your people, then to ultimately sacrifice his life for us. The preparation to anticipation leads to Godly expectation.

Four reasons why we don’t expect God to do big things in our lives.

1. We complicate God.

Instead of simple obedience we allow Satan's lies to complicate our faith.

2. We don’t have the knowledge of who God is.

God is a Father first.

Fail to uphold; to desert (abandon), especially what has already been trusted or embraced.

3. We feel we don’t deserve to live in God’s blessing.

4. We have prayed prayers that God did not answer.
