Everyone is born with inherited evils (tendencies) based on their bloodline. Although these evil tendencies are not held against us, we must stay exceptionally wary of them, because as stumbling blocks, they actively hover around to constantly lay traps for us until we  engage in them. As we engage in these evils, iniquity is established in our hearts. The presence of the iniquity becomes yet another stumbling block that now hinders  our access to God. When the iniquity is unrepented of, we fall into a cyclical affliction.

Except a man consecrates his life to seeking the Lord, in order that he may live from Him, each year is just the passing of time. People who live from the natural senses judge how good or bad the year has been, based on natural occurrences. However, those who live from the Lord, dedicating their lives to the strive for spiritual mastery, can attest soberly amidst the difficulties encountered in the Wilderness (a place of temptations where our hearts are proved, and genuine faith is birthed), that indeed, the year has been good. Praise God! 

In this message, Pastor Jeffrey Walter launches the theme for  the year 2024, “The Year of Divine Empowerment”. Highlighting on Deuteronomy 8:1-3, he teaches how Divine Empowerment is attained through spiritual training in the Wilderness. "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:41 KJV

Man is but a weakling, plagued with diverse temptations, when he yields to the flesh and not to the Spirit of God. Such a man is asleep (as to the realm of the spirit) and unable to be influenced by God. By divine design, Watching and Praying awakens a man to the Spirit and makes him susceptible to Heavenly impartation. If a man will remain honest, patient and relentless in prayer, He will not be denied.

In this message, "Watch and Pray", Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains what it means to be asleep in the flesh, but awake in the spirit. He sheds light on the need for men to watch and pray, by obeying the commandments of God and praying till they receive impressions in the Spirit, and from there, go on to operate from that realm.

However, we are often tempted to settle for interim experiences, which are not the end in themselves. We tend to forget that prayer constitutes interactions and feedback from God, and often rise from prayer with little or no contact made with Him.

A great and wondrous inheritance has been prepared for every man who walks in obedience to God. Hallelujah! The Lord truly wants us to have these beautiful treasures. Yet, the challenge we face is that these treasures are spiritually discerned. They are revealed only by the Spirit of God. Limited by our physical senses, we have absolutely no chance of perceiving them naturally. This is why traveling from the natural senses into the Spirit is critical. Like blind Bartimaeus, we must relentlessly put in persistent effort to make contact with God in the Spirit, if we truly desire to see. 

Pastor Jeffrey Walter, by this message: “Traveling into the Spirit”, teaches with great practicality how a man may shut out the voice of the flesh, in order to travel into the Spirit. There is a higher knowledge of the existence of God that makes a person subject to God. Mankind was made by the Lord with spiritual faculties to receive impulses and impressions from the spirit realm to interpret  the natural events of this world.

Who can access this higher realm: is it the Evil Man, the one who prefers his interest to that of God and His kingdom, or the Good Man, who eschews evil but still subjects to sensual interpretations of life, or the Spiritual Man, who has made contact with the Spirit of God?

Repentance from dead works, represented by the baptism of John ought to usher one into the baptism of Jesus, where he/she makes contact with the Spirit. 

Clearly, the baptism of John, which is of water (natural truth/doctrine) alone does not grant access to the Spirit of truth (Knowledge beyond the senses). How then does the baptism of Christ Jesus, which is of the Holy Ghost and fire, influence this access?

Divine Providence is the provision that God makes so that the spiritual and material universe can be governed by him. Its purpose is the salvation of the souls of men, and the formation of heaven from the human race. Nothing beats this priority. God is constantly making provision and orchestrating events, to ensure that our spiritual transformation is guaranteed. However, the operation of God’s providence remains unseen by man, at the time when it is in action. It is important that it remains so, in order to preserve the freewill of man. God’s Divine Providence is only perceived by man in hindsight. How then can he take advantage of this unseen, yet constant help offered by God?

In this message, "Divine Providence", Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains how Divine Providence works. Particularly, he demonstrates how God uses it to organize men, the role it plays in church growth and how to align one's self to it, in order to fully benefit from it.

With a tendency to judge matters only from the natural standpoint, we often err in our estimation of ourselves, the situations we deal with, and the true state of our relationship with God. God's perspective, however, is totally different from ours, and we are often shocked to discover this. 

The awakening of who we truly are in the Lord's eyes begins as we strive to apply ourselves to His Word. As we do this, as if by our own might, the Lord who alone is the Potter, steps in to mould and build us up as His masterpiece. The trying and unpleasant process of being moulded by the Lord is likened to the pains of a woman in labour. However, as we travail, the promise we hold on to from the Lord is that we will surely bring forth. He is the Potter; we are the marred clay, and as such, we must be willing to surrender to His processes, however painful. 

In this message, “In the Potter’s Hand”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter paints a vivid understanding of the clay on the Potter’s Wheel. He urges us to abandon ourselves in the hands of the Potter, who alone qualifies to guide us to take delivery of every good thing He intends for us.

This statement made by Jesus to Peter, is also made to each of us. As difficult as it is to believe that we can and will deny the Lord at some point on our Christian journey, it is undeniably true. By design, life has a way of coming strong at us, in a manner that thoroughly sifts our faith. Each of us must and will be tested. 

In this message, “When Faith Fails”,  Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches that self-generated faith must fail, so that proper faith, borne out of a converted heart, can be given to us.
