President Trump attempted to clarify his previous statements on the events in Charlottesville and defended himself by saying that he "needed all the facts" before making a wide-sweeping statement on the violence that occurred.  Simply put, this effort fell short, and the guys wonder what the new White House Communications Director will do to keep things under control (if that's possible).

Could anyone at the "Unite the Right" rally who carried a tiki torch and partook in the racist chants actually be a good person who simply wanted to take a stand on a perceived injustice?  Pat and Stu agree, the answer is, most likely, a resounding no.

Outspoken filmmaker Michael Moore made more headlines with his protest of President Trump, in which he compared the President's supporters to enablers of rapists.  The guys sift through his statements and, unsurprisingly, don't find any historical or political equations with a degree of accuracy.

As Confederate monuments are taken down across the United States; the question of what other parts of American history could soon be erased has risen to the forefront yet again.  Stu says that he would never erect a statue of Robert E. Lee, but for others, opposing the ideologies of the Confederate general is just the tip of the iceberg.
