Unfortunately, one-star reviews are inevitable. There will always be things that are out of our control that some patient will have a problem with. So we have to focus on the things we can control to ensure that as many of our patients as possible enjoy the five-star experience we know we can deliver. Here are the 3 most avoidable reasons that chiropractors get one-star Google reviews.
⭐️𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭
This is especially true with new patients who may still be auditioning chiropractors and practice experiences. We’ve all had crazy days where the schedule just gets away from us and we’re hanging on to the reins for dear life hoping not to be bucked off. When that does happen 𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙄𝙏𝙐𝘿𝙀 𝙄𝙎 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂. Humility and generosity are extremely valuable tools to smooth over feelings of frustration.
⭐️𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡
New patients aren’t show dogs. 🐕 Don’t make them jump through hoops to get the thing they actually want from a New Patient Special or try to upsell them if they respond to a Facebook ad or a Groupon. Even if they’re getting the service at a discounted rate, treat them as you would any other patient. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
