Eugene Rabkin recently used the phrase "intelligence of taste" in a StyleZeitgeist op-ed. Derek and Peter talk about how judgments of taste are often sociological and loaded with cultural biases. At the same time, there is such a thing as being more thoughtful about what you choose to wear, which prevents us from falling into pure relativism.
