Patrick Knowlton - The scandal of Brett Kavanaugh
When Brett Kavanaugh was nominated by the Trump administration in 2018, there were the much needed checks and balances; the results were a slew of accusations at Kavanaugh of impropriety at various stages of his life, resulting in the televised interviews which he fought his case on the premise 'I like beer'.
But the accusations which made headlines were only the tip of a rather unpleasant iceberg.
Patrick Knowlton looked into Kavanaugh's history, gathered stories from friends and colleagues (those who would cooperate) and former peers during his college days.
It was accepted that Kavanaugh's appointment alone tilted the balance of the Supreme Court to the right, but what people found hard to justify was the sheer volume and potential seriousness of the rumours surrounding the proposed Supreme Court Judge.
From 2018.
