Author, thinker, healer Paul Levy joins us to discuss his recently re-issued book, The Quantum Revelation, and how it reveals that science over the past 120 years has failed to take seriously the transformative discoveries made during the quantum revolution. 

While many have bent over backwards and contorted themselves in the intervening years to dress up quantum physics as just a way to make experimental results match predictions, and damn the ontological ramifications, Levy in this book corrals a daunting list of quotes from those early, intrepid quantum explorers who knew full well they were rediscovering the universe.

By taking the quantum seriously, we’re faced with a universe that is transcendent, mysterious, mind-like, and unified. These discoveries hearken back to and confirm some of the most ancient mystical human traditions, revealing that humanity has long had the keys to these truths in hand. We’ve just never had the heart to take them seriously.

In the modern era, we’ve clung desperately to a damned worldview, physicalist materialism, in spite of the mountains of evidence that have emerged to topple that program.  

Levy here describes how how we dream up the universe, and thereby engage, determines everything about who we are and where we’re going.
