A listener asks Dr. Randy a question regarding the story circulating in the news and online concerning ice cubes & ice water being hazardous to dogs, causing bloat. Dr. Randy agrees with the experts that ice cubes/ice water did not cause the problem. Gastric dilatation, bloat, and torsion is a function of animals eating mostly dry food, then ingesting large amount of water at a time, and then being active.
