Imagine a week where you have to walk 4-10 hours a day, through pouring rain, freezing snow and blinding fog, carrying a heavy backpack, showering with ice cold water, sleeping in a room with a dozen strangers, and eating whatever you're offered regardless of your dietary preferences.
This annual event is Ela’s favorite week of the year: hiking through the Swiss/Italian Alps via Grande Traversata delle Alpi (GTA).
She calls it, going back to the basics. Carrying all your needs on your back and living very very simply. It`s mentally and physically challenging. Yet when we push ourselves to our limits, we face our strengths.
One major lesson Ela took away from this year's trip is: impermanence. Tune in to find out more!
