  • 03: Get Out of Your Own Way
Today, we’re talking all things imposter syndrome and you just might want to get a pen and paper out for this episode. No matter who you are, you’ve probably experienced imposter syndrome at some point in your life. It’s an all too common (yet, highly annoying) feeling that causes self doubt and limiting beliefs from comparing one’s self to another.

The impact of imposter syndrome can be extremely detrimental. It can cause people to spiral so far out of control and avoided taking any risk or pursuing what they actually want in their life.

And, frankly…I’m just not okay with that.

On this episode, I’m taking you to school on how to get out of your own way. You are going to learn:
    - The 5 types of imposter syndrome (and get to decide which one fits you best)
    - 3 simple things you can do to increase your confidence
    - How to use imposter syndrome to your advantage and thrive through it

  • 02: My Other Favorite 'P' Word
When we hear the word 'profit,' we most often think of money. But, what if I were to convince you that profit means so much more than dollar signs and fancy business jargon?

Money is important - there’s no doubt about it. On this show, we love money. However, money is not the end-all-be-all of happiness and this type of thinking leads to a lack of sight into other things that create joy and fulfillment.

Understanding the profits and investments in your life outside of financial gains and losses is key to living a life that's joyful. In this episode, Stephanie reveals how shifting her perspective around profits allowed for greater abundance in her life…and how you can have it, too!

  • 01: My Favorite 'P' Word
I want to welcome you to the first episode of Present and Profitable Moms. It means so much to me that you’re here. I’m excited about the show and excited about sharing what I’m passionate about with you. I kick things off with presence which is the foundation for this show. If you aren’t living up to your full potential or feel like you are just going through the motions, it’s time to take a step back and discover whether you are present or not.

When I began my coaching career, I focused on the wrong areas. It took self-awareness and patience to get where I’m at today with a six-figure coaching business doing work I love. I’m going to share some of this story with you and give you three questions that you can use to discover if you are really present or playing it safe and small. Next episode, I’ll dive into profit, the other foundational piece of this show.

    Show Highlights:

[04:44] There are two foundations for this show. Profit and Presence.

[05:52] When I began coaching, I wanted to coach about things that brought me fulfillment and joy.

[06:46] I had to ask myself what I was good at that I could teach people with ease.

[07:12] My list contained communication, effective presentations, creating compelling content, and purpose driven leadership. Just reading this list makes me want to fall asleep.

[08:10] I was playing small and safe. I was too uncomfortable to veer outside of my comfort zone.

[09:21] My physical and mental health took a downward spiral, and I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed.

[12:25] It was my Mom that told me that I could not keep doing this to myself and the people I love.

[13:09] It took self-awareness and patience to go from where I was then to where I am now. I now have a six-figure coaching business doing work that I love. I enjoy taking care of my body and prioritize rest. I'm approaching everything I do with intention.

[14:05] We are able to recall things when we have a strong emotional attachment to them.

[14:44] I'm now present and able to genuinely enjoy my life. Now I feel full presence and enjoyment from where I'm at. Instead of running from goal to goal.

[15:18] Presence will mean different things to each of us. It's part of my brand, because presence is part of me.

[16:21] Why do you stay in prison, when the door is so wide open?” Rumi This quote snapped me back to when I had the opportunity to change my business.

[18:35] How do you define presence?

[18:45] What does presence mean to me? In what area of your life or business do you feel a lack of presence the most? Is it with your work, kids, partner, or friends?

[19:20] Write down all of the areas. Think about creating a list from top to bottom.

[19:27] What would it look like to be more present in one area of your life?

[20:29] Do the action just once. Action and transformation begin today! Experiencing it one time is enough motivation to keep moving forward.

  • 006: Creating Confidence with Life Coach, Rachelle Indra
Why is it often difficult to show up in our lives and our business as our true and authentic self? How do you teach yourself to be more confident? Why do we allow other people's perceptions dictate what we do or how we interact online?

In today's episode, I am joined by Life Coach, Rachelle Indra, who tackles all of these questions and more. As a coach, Rachelle teaches the shit they should have taught us in school but didn't. Be sure to grab some a notebook and some tissues because you are most definitely going to need both as you give this episode a listen.

  • 004_The Power of Storytelling Through the Eyes of a Stroke Survivor
Every episode of Connect with Confidence is special. But, today's episode, is especially near and dear to my heart because I am joined by a very dear friend of mine.

Nikki Steele had a stroke at the young age of 26. After 4 years of recovery - both physical and mental - she now uses her platform to share her incredible story and encourage others to do the same.

Talking about hard things in our life is just that - it's hard. In this episode, Nikki talks about the mental roadblocks she overcame in her new self identity as a stroke survivor and the beauty that lies on the other side of sharing her story.

Today's conversation is one of hardship, struggle but, most importantly, hope. As you listen to Nikki's journey, my hope is that you feel inspired to tell whatever story it is that you have been wanting to share with the world.

  • 003_Why Your Content Isn't Connecting...and How to Fix It
Do you struggle to write content that actually makes an impact? Are you frustrated because you spend so much time thinking about what to say but don’t see the engagement you want? Do you wish you knew exactly what it is your audience wants to hear?

If so, this episode is for you.

Content = connection and connection is what drives any successful business. In order to make an impact on your ideal client(s), you must first get them to trust you. That trust is derived from your ability to be relatable and show that you understand what your audience needs and wants.

Too often, we create content in a silo. We sit in front of our computer and begin typing without first giving thought to what the experience will be for the person on the other end. In today’s episode, I break down 4 critical questions you should ask yourself before ever creating content to help ensure it has the impact you desire.

I’ve also created a free PDF guide, ‘Create Content that Connects,’ (link below) that follows along with today’s episode to make answering these questions even easier for you. Be sure to grab your copy.
