The Chamber's Flavors of Florence and Awesome Auction is the largest fundraiser for this local nonprofit business advocacy organization, but it's much more than that. It serves both as host to the area's most competitive celebrity chef competition and as a great place to taste some of the best food in the area. I'll be there as a judge for the competition and I hope you'll join me for the fun. Listen to this special event preview episode and my guests, Les and Blake, who will tell you all about the event and what will make this year's edition unique. And don't forget about the auction portion of the evening. Some of the items will absolutely amaze you. There is something for everyone with auction item values range from $20.00 to well over $2,000.00.

This unique Pee Dee Food Show episode is a fun compilation of the interviews that I conducted during Food Blog Forum 2013. My guests are well-known restaurant chefs from around Walt Disney World speaking about the new Mickey Check menu items developed especially for kids. Taking into account common food allergies, tastes and nuturitional content, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts created Mickey Check items to provide healthy alternatives to traditional theme park fare. In my opinion, the fact that they are mostly made from scratch using as few processed ingredients as possible makes them the stars of the show. When dining in a Disney Park or Resort, simply look for the Mickey Check logo.

Also joining me in the latter part of the episode are Todd Porter and Diane Cu of WhiteOnRiceCouple.com, highly talented visual artists who have a passion for their trade and sharing their skillsets with others.
