In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus told his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." There has always been a God-dream of more kingdom workers. What does it mean to be missional? What does spiritual transformation with a missional trajectory looks like? In other words, what does it mean to be possessed by the Triune God of mission? Scott Sunquist said, "The world needs people who are gentle, humble, empty & attentive. That’s about as missional as you can get." So, again, what does it look like to be spiritually transformed with a missional trajectory? As we talk about that, check out how Dallas Willard paraphrased the Great Commission, “All authority in heaven & earth has been given to me, therefore as you go through life, make apprentices to me of all peoples (ones who will do what I did because they are like me), immersing them in the Trinitarian presence, & guiding them to obey all the things I have taught you, & surely I will be with you all day of every day” (Matthew 28:18-20). May this message speak to your heart & lead you into a deeper hunger for God and a fresh passion to engage in the mission of God. (Originally uploaded on April 11, 2021)
