In his recent study, Dr. McCarthy and his colleagues examined the significance of serum methadone/metabolite ratios (or MMRs). In particular, they looked at the changes in these ratios for the expecting mother throughout pregnancy and sought to use these ratios to objectively guide methadone dosing.
