Are you worthy of joy? Like, do you really truly believe that you are? When we dig deep down, so many of us in fact don't believe that we are worthy of joy. What's the all about? And how do we shift it?
Today we speak with Heidi Esther, joyologist, about her story, joy, and worthiness. How do they merge together? How can you use joy as your compass in life? And why is that so important?
Meet Heidi Esther, Joyologist. If Mister Rogers and Captain Marvel had a baby, it would be Heidi Esther. She is a cookie-baking strategic powerhouse, momma, and bad poet. Along with two decades’ experience as a professional relationship builder, and one decade learning from life's trenches, she is an author, speaker, and certified emotional intelligence life coach. She is on a mission to liberate busy, generous working women from the laundry lists of life so they may embrace their Peculiar Genius and well-deserved Joy.

In this episode, the host Mel Findlater interviews Jena Ponti Jauchius of N Is For Nature Play one year on from when she last joined us on the podcast in Episode 10. Back then, she told us about all of our senses and we discussed how we can create play spaces that meet all of our sensory needs, especially for our kiddos.
In this episode we continue on by checking in on Jena one year on, discussing the difference between now and then, her learnings and where she sees the most growth personally. We also expand our sensory conversation to us adults, the importance of checkin in on our bodies, how our reactions sometimes have hidden unmet needs, and more.
Jena Ponti Jauchius bio
My big, audacious dream is to have an ultra successful business and support as many children and families as I can with health, happiness, and connection through sensory-rich natural play and learning. I also dream of providing beautifully for my daughters, giving them the kind of childhood they need to grow into the biggest, best versions of themselves. (I also want this to include world travel, lots of freedom, and all the fun surprises life has to offer us.)

Sometimes to see something up close, we have to back away and get perspective.
In this episode Mel Findlater talks you through her recent solo trip to the UK, from her home in Canada, where she visited friends and went to a unique event for the doers and changemakers of the world, The Do Lectures, on a farm seemingly in the middle of nowhere in Wales.
Why would she spend the money, take the time away and want to go sleep in a field with a bunch of strangers? What did she learn? And what does this all have to do with you?
Have a listen and find out.
You can watch all of the past videos from The Do Lectures for free on their website, including one day soon the same talks that Mel listened to in person.
