Both are offered a terrible choice - save their own lives, in order to be able to take care of their children, or remain in God’s love and die martyrs. Their perseverance, faith, and friendship provide examples of the love that God offers each of us. 

This series contains moments of intensity and fear. Characters are imprisoned in bad conditions and interrogated for their faith. Mothers and children are involuntarily separated. There are several threats of violence. The series ends with an implied martyrdom.
