Granger Taylor was a Canadian eccentric and self-taught engineer known for his mysterious disappearance in 1980. 

On November 29, 1980, Taylor left a note for his family, stating that he was going on a 42-month interstellar journey with aliens. He drove off in his truck, and neither he nor the vehicle was ever seen again. Despite extensive searches, the only potential clue was the discovery of fragments of his truck in a nearby forest in 1986, suggesting an explosion.

Granger Taylor's disappearance remains an unsolved mystery, and he has become a figure of fascination and speculation, with theories ranging from alien abduction to a tragic accident.

The interrogation of 14-year-old Michael Crowe in 1998, following the murder of his sister Stephanie, involved intense and prolonged questioning by police, who used psychological pressure and suggested he might have killed her without remembering it. Despite a lack of physical evidence, Michael eventually confessed, though his confession was inconsistent and later deemed coerced. Subsequent investigations revealed the confession's flaws, and another suspect, Richard Tuite, was eventually convicted, highlighting issues with interrogation techniques and the risk of false confessions.
