In the past few episodes, Eartha has invited listeners to take the mindful challenge to determine if mindfulness works. Research supports the practice of mindfulness makes positive lifestyle changes in participants who practice. Eartha asks reflective questions to guide participants in a self-evaluation. As a part of the reflective self-evaluation, ask yourself the following questions. What were the high points of your week? What were the low points of your week? What are your feelings right now? Are you feeling balanced? How do you know you are aware when you are off balance? Awareness is our vehicle to input information into our brains. It is a very important part of mindfulness. We want to make sure we are adjusting our awareness to incorporate all of our five senses with focus. As we reflect, be aware that this is a time of readjusting. Without judgment be open to growing your practice level where it expresses the genuine you sans fear, anger, hate, or defiance.
