So I just got my hands on the new Reebok CrossFit Nano 8.0, after having them for a week this is an initial first look at the shoe and how it compares to its predecessors from the Nano 3 to the Reebok speed t.r, all the way to the current Reebok CrossFit Nano 8.0 Flexweave.

A brief look at build quality, design, price points and colourways. I may do a further review once fully tested a few months down the line.

I haven't compared these to the current competitor trainers such as the Nike Metcon or the NoBull's as I simply haven't ever owned any so couldn't give an honest review!

I hope this gives you some insight into the trainer and remember, the CrossFit Games Open is just around the corner, so these may come in handy. Get yourselves signed up!

Firstly breaking down what positions are optimal for turning over efficient sets of TTB, secondly looking at some of the common mistakes that I often see when people are performing toes to bar and lastly accessory pieces for all weakness areas of the ttb, importantly, upper body strength , core strength and overall flexibility

STRENGTH! Thats the key to the muscle up. But strength in varied positions. In the video I talk through some of the key things you should be working on to improve your muscle ups including scaled options. Not only will these movements build strength for the muscle up but will help to improve various other exercises such as toes to bar, pullups, levers, holds and more. If you have suffered from an injury its easy to stress about the things you can't do whereas you could be working on other areas you can do. It's not always easy to take your own advise however. Just take small little steps in the right direction and don't expect to jump back in where you left off. Take your time, build yourself back up slowly. A lesson I have learnt the hard way. Also a little tutorial on ring archer pushups and ice cream scoops in this episode. And i am still diabolical at skateboarding.
