Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by asking what will happen in the City of Philadelphia if the Philadelphia Phillies win the World Series, telling of a rumor he’s heard that other local Police Departments may be hesitant to provide manpower due to effects on their departments because of Philadelphia’s policies in dealing with crime. Then, Giordano plays back a clip from a Bucks County commissioner who suggested that there is nothing illegal about dropping multiple ballots into a drop box, which runs counter to a recent Supreme Court ruling. Then, Dom spends the remainder of the first half hour discussing the impact of inflation on the Election, playing back clips from multiple Democrats who suggest that ‘the threat to Democracy’ should be top of mind for all voters.
Then, Dom welcomes Megan Brock of ParentsHaveTheRightToKnow.com back onto the Dom Giordano Program, after she sent over a clip of Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie saying that it is indeed legal for voters to drop multiple ballots in drop boxes. Dom gets some clarification from Brock about the law, telling that the law is written in a way that can be interpreted multiple ways, but reads that voters are allowed to make drops for residents within their ‘designated household.’ Brock argues, that in a situation like a nursing home, a ‘household’ should be, for example, a husband and wife or roommates sharing a room. While the law is not clear, her interpretation points toward ‘households’ does not involve, in effect, a nurse dropping multiple ballots as a representative of an entire nursing home.
