This episode is a recorded phone call by an NPE to his mom. Jeff Frame, a documentary filmmaker, found out 8 years ago that the abusive father he thought was his dad, wasn't. A day and a half later, he called his mom to confront her. This is that call. No edits, just the straight phone call. It's raw, it's emotional and maybe triggering for some people.
I am not a therapist by any means and do not condone nor condemn what Jeff did or said while he was so hurt and ripped open. But I think hearing their conversation will deepen our understanding into the complexities of finding out your dad isn't your dad and the decisions that were made to hide that from NPEs.
