  • BEING EXPOSED
What I am seeing with this entire pandemic and looking around to how others are acting and reacting was just like what happened at the end of my marriage and just like a lot of people I am being EXPOSED in business and relationships. When you don't put in the time to cultivate the relationships you want and have a safety net of your job how does that make you feel. We have defined ourselves in a a certain way but when that is taken away like losing your job, like being at home all of the time with your wife and kids and also when things like the gym and other activities are stripped from you, what is left. I want you to consider that when you see you were living paycheck to paycheck being EXPOSED in your relationship when you can't hide at work, the bar, the gym. What is left? Sit back and relax and listen to TODAYS TALE FROM THE TRENCH.

  • STAYING GROUNDED
Unbelievably crazy times. Now that I have daily habits aligned with my values, it is very hard for me outside forces to knock me off course. When I did not have that structure it was very easy for the midlife triangle of chaos to pull me off course and want to sedate. The daily game of the core 4 of doing something for my body, being, balance and business pulls your entire life together. Sit back and relax and listen to today's TALE FROM THE TRENCH.

  • Uggghhh........I NEED TO GET READY FOR THIS!!
Skiing again on the weekend with my son caused a lot of thoughts and emotions. Physically and mentally drained from working long shifts and hours. I was asked to ski some terrain that I was not prepared for. Just like in my marriage, there was no one coming to save me as I was sitting in some crusty powder section in the trees. I did not prepare for this skiing session with proper sleep and nutrition. In my marriage, I did not prepare by seminars and couples counseling. It was my duty to ask for help when I needed it. I just sat there as the universe kept telling me to get back on track and talk to my spouse. My ego said I was good and doing the right thing, boy was it wrong. Sit back and listen to today's TALE FROM THE TRENCH.
