We are now a few weeks into Season 6 and it is time for me too give my review. Sea Forts are great but servers are not! I dive into the patch notes to discuss what went wrong with the servers and also discuss why Sea Forts are the best addition to the game in a LONG time.

Let's look at Season 6 and why I'm so pumped and excited to sail! Though there is way too many forts in Sea of Thieves, the new Spanish forts do add things for players of all styles todo and I will lay out some creative ideas that players can try out to make this fort WAY different than all the others.

After my first play through of Shrouded Islands, I go through how this was a good starting point for Rare's new time locked story development. I also find a post on Redditt that makes me think and realize that Rare has a bad love affair with Forts and it needs to stop!

Rare has had a history of fighting against toxicity in the community BUT creating events and making decisions to cause major toxicity. The latest is the announced reskinned Legendary Sea Dog Weapons. Currently it is only via twitter and other social outlets but I'm going to talk about what they could and should have done differently with this and other exclusive cosmetics.

The 2022 road map has been release for Sea of Thieves and EVERY player should be hyped. Though Rare still needs to execute on the amazing plan they have laid out, this year is looking to be VERY bright for the game we love. I look at the road map and discuss the highlights I see and take a sneak peek at Sea of Thieves Season 6

As we set sail into 2022 I think it is important to look back at what 2021 offered us as a complete package and story. We forget where the game was at the end of 2020 and how far it came in 2021 and all the wonderful changes we saw. In this episode I break down 2021 Sea of Thieves Seasons and rank them from best to worst. Then I give out awards for the best update, best cosmetic and best feature.

In this episode we discuss the CIPT awards and the splash Rare made this year by being nominated in several categories and winning 1 with Sea of Thieves. Rare's approach to developing a game for everyone is really getting noticed in the industry with their innovations in accessibility. I also discuss my opinions on the Sea of Thieves Development cycle and based on what Mike Chapman has hinted at, how far in the future the team has already started working on what's next in Sea of Thieves.

It's the Holidays and people are on vacation and needing things to do when not with family. This is prime time for games to release large content updates to make sure new players come check out the game and other players don't drift to other games. I look at the first week of season 5 and identify why I think, though a needed season, was not released at the right time of year and will hurt Sea of Thieves over the Holidays. I'll also dive into what the community is saying about Season 5, some love it, others hate it. What do I think?

In this episode I review my unfortunate end to Season 4 due to Server Stability. I then preview Sea of Thieves Season 5 looking at the media rare released leading up to the release and the patch notes. Mike Chapman said this season is full of fun features with no real purpose, I look at that concept and I talk about my take on each and does this season have no real purpose or is this one of the best Seasons Sea of Thieves has returned. We return to the comfy mattress and we do the Good, the Bad and the "What the F" in the recent patch notes.
