After a long and nearly endless NFL Draft weekend, Joe and Brian have recharged their batteries, and are ready to talk about all eight of the Pittsburgh Steelers draft picks. Which picks were necessary, which were a luxury, and is there such a thing as “was there someone else available?”

The duo tackles these ideas, and finds out of the team improved enough to make it to the big game in 2017.

Day two of the 2017 NFL Draft is officially in the books. The Pittsburgh Steelers had three selections between the second and third rounds of the draft on this day: and stayed true to their process!

Joe and Brian dig into the reasoning behind each pick, and also take a look at what else happened in the AFC North, where the Ravens have improved, the Browns are looking better, and the Bengals… well, we have no idea what they’re doing!

The NFL finally released the 2017 schedule on Thursday night, and Steelers Nation is in for another “gift” from the league’s office.

For the second straight year, Pittsburgh will have to play on a major holiday: to the dismay of many, including today’s host Joe Kuzma.

There are also a few other interesting nuggets within the calendar’s layout, including a streak of multiple primetime games, and a familiar foe will start and end the season.

Everyone has been getting ready for the 2017 NFL Draft and I’ve been doing nothing but complaining about how the Steelers don’t need a quarterback.

But today I’m going to switch gears and tell you when and where in the draft I won’t be disappointed if Pittsburgh does select a QB. However, there are conditions, and those include positions of need, where our team here at SCU feels the team could “double-dip” at one, or both, of those spots, as they have in the past.

I also have a few notes about career lengths and how they pertain to where a player is taken is selected. Let’s just say that those mid-round miracles everyone is looking for are almost always Cinderella stories.
