Believe it or not, but Joe and Brian have come up with even more ideas on why drafting a quarterback is not a surefire thing in the NFL. Yet there are still some fans who are advocating for Ben Roethlisberger’s “replacement” to be taken in the upcoming draft.

So, painful as their arms are from beating dead horses with broken records, the duo is going to put the final nails in the “drafting a quarterback” coffin, including a pretty big one which proves that even those teams who appear to always draft quality passers have made mistakes.

Who thought that one player could have such an impact on an entire league?

And who thought that player would be none other than Tony Romo?

Joe’s back today, flying solo to cover a few housekeeping items, plus discuss how the now former Dallas Cowboy quarterback’s decision to walk away from pro football will have a ripple effect across the NFL… and how that could benefit the Steelers come draft day.

Well Steelers Nation: was it worth the wait?

After sitting out the first two weeks or so of the free agency period, the Pittsburgh Steelers finally made some moves this week, signing three outside free agents. In typical Steelers fashion, none of the signings made major headlines outside of the city, but within the confines of their South Side complex, Pittsburgh has put together a nice backup plan should their draft board fall apart.

Joe will talk about how their latest acquisitions help the team stay true to taking the best player available on draft day.
