Welcome to another edition of Joe’s Pet Peeves!
Offseason talk is heating up, and no topic is hotter than who will be a quarterback where, including the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I understand that some fans aren’t a “fan” of Landry Jones. I get it. I was once one of “those fans”.
I am no longer.
Landry is who he is: a capable backup, because, no one can or will be Ben Roethlisberger. Period.
Brian and I discussed potential free agent fits on Monday, but today I want to address my pet peeve about “getting a QB in the draft” but dispelling some myths about who was available, when, and what it would cost: both in the picks the Steelers would’ve had to forgo taking, as well as actual collateral to move up for a “surefire can’t miss QB”. (Hint: those don’t exist!)
