Pittsburgh Steelers Podcast | Steel City Underground

Joe and Brian take to the airwaves to challenge CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco and his Top 100 NFL Players list by asking which Steelers are deserving of such a distinction heading into the 2020 season.

The hosts have some intriguing takes, including some names you’d be surprised about: Prisco also shocked us with one of his inclusions, as well as a huge glaring omission to his best 100.

The takes are hotter than ever in this episode as the dynamic duo returns to breakdown the entire Steelers roster to find the “best of the best”.

Prisco’s Top 100 list can be found at:

Brian and Zach team up to sort out the “not takes” from the “hot takes” circulating Steelers Nation.

Among the narratives littering social media (especially) is whether Ben Roethlisberger is “washed up”, if JuJu Smith-Schuster will have a bounce back season or if James Conner can remain healthy.

The contract status of several players is also on the line as the duo reacts to the nonstop nonsense we see all over the world wide web.

In the latest SCU Podcast, Joe and Zach attack the recent wildfire which has spread from James Harrison’s comments about Mike Tomlin “handing him an envelope”, in reference to a fine he received for a hit on former Cleveland Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi.

While Harrison has come out to defend the action of his former coach, others are quick to clickbait the story for their own gain. Hear what our hosts have to say about this topic and why it’s a “nothing burger” in the grand scheme of the football community.

For reference, here is the link to the TMZ article with the Barstool Sports “Going Deep” podcast snippet:

Joe Kuzma and Zach Metkler take a common sense approach to grading the Steelers 2020 NFL Draft class: they don’t!

Looking around the Internet, there are a lot of opinions about Pittsburgh’s picks, however, when they’re already drafting with limited capital, what can you realistically expect?

That’s the approach the hosts take in breaking down those critiques of the Steelers draft haul, as well as pointing out those grades often forget how they used some of their picks to acquire players outside of the 2020 Draft.
