In episode 46 I'm delighted to welcome Scott Harrison as a guest. He is The Six Pack Revolution Founder/Coach, Author, Personal Trainer, Nutritional and Motivational Coach and proud Father of three with the latest addition with the birth of his second Son to the family. We talk about his own transformational journey that not only saw his physique go from 'Dad Bod' (his words!) to 'shredded', but how it literally changed his life and career with the creation of the highly successful online fitness program and company The Six Pack Revolution (SPR) which boasts impressive results of transforming thousands of people's physiques along with their mindset. We talk about the power of manifestation and why he urges every participant to read 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne and why he believes everyone should experience 'the magic' of day 75 on the program at least once in their life. Building a resilient mindset comes from overcoming obstacles and not giving up which are key points that he is keen to impart throughout program journey. This is truly an inspiring episode that shows anything is possible if you believe but also if you are prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve it. Scott is keen to share his message to not just adults but also the younger generation and has written his debut children's book 'Grumpy Gorilla and Happy Hippo - A positive tale for all to read. He leads by example in following the SPR plan, no doubt you'll see his most recent amazing results on IG and FB, as he will be doing a photoshoot the week that this episode goes live.Â

Episode 45 is with my guest and former Mastermind mentee Mike Sobkiw aka the 'FitfunFather' on his Podcast, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach based at 360 Fitness in Alberta Canada. Mike's journey has enabled him to fully understand his clients and help them to adopt new behaviours of change to achieve their fitness goals. Often there can be a catalyst in wanting that change, so we discuss Mike's reasons and how long it took him and what he learnt about himself along the way and ultimately how this change brought about a whole new career for him. Fitness should be a celebration of what your body can do and not a punishment of what you ate!

We've been here before, only this time we know how hard it is. However, don't let it control you! Learn to control the 'controllables' which is your fitness, nutrition and mindset. In this episode I share some questions I have received from clients that will hopefully help you in this next stretch!
Your greatest wealth is your health even more so now. It has been studied that those who embark on a fitness/weightloss program in November are statistically more likely to succeed than those who start in January. Why wait..you've got nothing to lose (but weight) and everything to gain (your health and wellness).

I’m delighted to welcome Dr. Vincent Esposito as my guest on episode 43 to talk about the importance of good gut health.
He’s a board-certified chiropractor and nutritionist based in NY, founder of the INSIDE OUT Health & Wellness website, Co-founder of EVOK Health and Co-Host of The Art of Eating Podcast.
He uses his expertise in functional medicine principles to help investigate and identify underlying factors causing chronic illnesses for his clients. He is passionate about plant-based nutrition and shares the latest information on whole foods plus recipes and more on his YouTube Channel.
Vincent gives his own experience of digestive issues and how he managed to overcome them by evolving his diet to include more fibre and then ultimately becoming plant-based. Not only did he eliminate certain allergies he had been suffering with, he also lost weight in the process.
We talk about the Gut/Brain connection and how gut health can play a role in anxiety, depression (and especially inflammation). In addition to the importance of fibre and how everyone's gut microbiome (GM) is unique to them. So any dietary changes made need to be monitored and done slowly to establish what the gut of each individual can tolerate using the 4R protocol (4 steps to repairing the gut)
REMOVE/REPLACE/REINOCULATE/REPAIR
Vincent discusses what people can do to get their body functioning optimally which is of paramount importance during COVID-19.

With so much information out there on what to eat, how to train including unlimited free workouts and meal plans ready at our fingertips, actually can cause 'analysis paralysis' or even overwhelm with too many conflicting variables. In this episode I break it down in five simple steps how you can build and adhere to your own workout plan (which because you created it) are more likely to stick to it. Variety may be the spice of life but when you are looking to body 'tone' 'sculpt' and/or lose weight then consistency is King (or Queen!) By incorporating resistance training (bodyweight or with weights) into your weekly routine, you will not only become fitter, stronger in both body and mind but you'll burn 'extra' calories whilst you rest and repair those muscles! In this episode I answer some questions particularly around fitness and nutrition put forward by my clients, Instagram followers and Facebook group members.
I discuss why there can be a fluctuation in weightloss, what to do to overcome food cravings at certain times of the month and should you rest if your muscles are sore after working out. I also talk about the importance of accountability when aiming for a specific goal and why you can't rely on motivation and willpower alone!.
