We’re back again with another comic creator, this time it’s Carl Antonowicz to talk about his comic Büer’s Kiss. But more importantly, the really awesome way he does live performances of it. From his time working with the New Hazlet Theater to plans for the future, be sure to check out all of his stuff over at Canto Comics, the Canto Comics store in Big Cartel, @cantocomics on Twitter, the Patreon that got started since this episode was recorded, and of course the YouTube video so you can see what makes this so special.
And while you’re at it, check out his wife Sophie’s stuff over at DC Is Going to Hell and Red Ink Radio.
You knew this day was coming. Eventually we had to get to Superman 64. Flying around through rings, horrible time limits, battling Lex Luthor in an arena of his making. What can we say about this game that hasn’t already been said?
Listen in as Kyle Federline and Karrington Martin give it a shot as we look at this N64 classic. I promise, we actually have good things to say about it.

Superman can’t really be stopped by normal bad guys, we’ve established that. But what happens when Lex Luthor decides to really go after him? Oh, we’ve done that too? Ummmm, so what happens this time? It’s comics after all, so we know he isn’t really going anywhere.
Listen in as Dan McMahon from DC Supersons comes on the show to take a look at a Gameboy exclusive title based on the 1990s animated series. Yeah, that’s what we’re going with for this one. It says so on the box so it must be true.

Every super hero story has to eventually end. Maybe not in our world, but in the comic world as long as timelines don’t get reset or just stop progressing then all the heroes will eventually get old. Except The Phantom, who just straight up hasn’t died. Because he can’t.
Listen in as Karrington Martin from Real Dudes Podcast comes to talk about Phantom 2040 and how it relates to the Phantom comics, and of course the SNES and Genesis games that came out with it.

In a world of corrupt politicians working with the letter, but definitely not the spirit, of the law it’s inevitable that if time travel become a possibility that it would be used for evil. Which means you’ll have to have cops specifically for time related things.
Listen in as Mark Diaz from Mark’s Movie Collection comes to talk about this Jean Claude Van Damme classic and a game that kind of maybe has something to do with it.

If awesome comics are your thing then I’ve got a treat for you. An ex-cop trying to figure out what happened to her partner. Mysterious happenings. Secret organizations. The struggle to find what’s just and right in this crazy world. If any of this catches your eye then listen up, head over to the preview of Butcher Queen to see how cool it is, and back the Butcher Queen Kickstarter Project to make sure that you get a copy of the whole story for yourself.
Butcher Queen can also be found @ButcherQComic on Twitter. Writer Jim Ousley can be found @JimOusley and artist Ben Sawyer can be found @SketchSawyer.
Alien races fighting an ancient war. Characters that aren’t exactly like the rest of Earth’s population. Jim Lee art. A 90s Saturday morning cartoon. I’m thinking this sounds pretty familiar…..
Listen in as Jeffrey Brown, writer of The Valkyrie Quartet, comes to talk Jim Lee’s WildC.A.T.S. and how despite the familiarity of it, this is a franchise that you really need to check out for it’s own awesomeness.

Music by Best Day, who likes the Green Lantern movie. Or doesn’t. Definitely one of those options.
Batman and Robin is the last of the 1990s Batman movies, and maybe for good reason. The movie was not all too well received. It didn’t really fit the tone of the preview two 90s Batman movies. And yet it still had a game come out for it. A year after the movie, but it still happened.
Listen in as Chris and guest Billy from CommanderCast admit that this is their favorite of the 90s Batman movies and take a look at the tie in game that came with it.

Music by Best Day, who would get some stickers sent to him if he just asked. As would anyone else. Seriously.
In the far far future of 2055 the world has somehow survived World War III. Except with all of the nuclear explosions and toxins in the environment and stuff like that the world’s population has all turned into mutants. Let’s ignore that the science doesn’t work there at all. But one scientist found a way to turn mutants back into humans! And yes, we’re ignoring that science there as well.
Listen in as Karrington Martin from Real Dudes Podcast comes on to talk about this little known comic (at least to everyone I talked to) that someone has a game that is pretty well known game, at least in the Retro Gaming circles.

A lot of you (and by that I mean at least 1 person) has asked if I’d ever look at the Alien franchise. This is as close as I’ll get since the movie clearly came first and didn’t get made with the comic in mind. But you asked for it, and there are comics. So why not?
