It’s been an interesting week in the financial world and Steve and Steve are here to talk about the things that have been catching their eye. Things like Arm’s IPO, Adobe’s earnings, and Monzo’s new investment products.

But we’re starting with things we’ve been consuming. Steve W has been diving into the world of banking with an email service he thinks is really helpful and Steve D has been exploring the ethically questionable world of Russian banking… and Chamath.

With that out of the way, we’re looking at Arm’s IPO. It went well, with the stock now up at around $61 and Steve W’s been looking at the chip space, Arm’s prospects, and Softbank’s success.

After that, it’s on to a private investment the Steves both own – Monzo. The challenger bank has launched some investment products and Steve D has the details of which funds are available to customers looking to put some money away for the long term.

And we’re finishing with Adobe. After some strong earnings, the stock seemed to go down, but how much money has Steve D made with this stock… and how much has he left behind?

Next it’s UIPath – Romania’s contribution to the S&P 500, which was requested by some of our subscribers. Steve D’s been looking at this and thinks there might be some sneaky upside here to the business with the possibility of an acquisition…

Sticking with the S&P 500, AirBnB is about to become the newest addition to the index. The stock is running up a little bit on the news, but Steve W thinks it might be worth keeping an eye open for a buying opportunity when the stock gets added.

And we’re finishing this week with DocuSign. It’s more than copy and pasting signatures, but is one of Cathie Wood’s favourite stocks down enough to attract either of the Steves?

Steve and Steve are talking about tech this week – there’s an IPO and three lots of earnings to go over. In general, it’s been a good week in the stock market for both of them.

First up it’s Arm holdings. This is a company that isn’t about to be a FTSE 100 stock and the Steves find it hard to blame them, but is the upcoming IPO something that’s on their radar?

Then it’s on to Autodesk – a Steve D stock. Steve W thinks this one might be sneakily cheaper than it looks at a quick first sight, so with Steve D knowing the company’s products well, could there be an opportunity?

Next it’s Nvidia (of course it is, look at their earnings) which jumped on Wednesday and settled down towards the end of the week. The share price is up but there’s some impressive underlying growth – enough to tempt either Steve into action?

Lastly, it’s Splunk (with an ‘L’) – one of the leading cybersecurity firms in the US. Unlike the company, the CEO has a strong name and the stock has a had a good week, so what have investors been seeing in it lately?

There’s been a lot going on this week – Steve D’s been buying cheese and Steve W’s been watching cricket. But we’ve also got the latest news from the UK, as well as earnings from Adyen, Admiral, and Tencent.

We’re starting off with the latest macroeconomic news from the UK. Inflation has been coming down as wages have been going up – but why is Steve D cross about basically everything?

Then it’s on to some earnings, starting with Adyen. The stock has taken a big 40% hit this week, but the business is growing – so is this a buying opportunity for either Steve?

After that, we’re looking at Admiral, which Steve W thinks is better than most investors are thinking. Inflation is weighing on the company’s bottom line, so why did the stock rise by 5% this week?

And we’re finishing with Tencent – a stock that we haven’t looked at recently. It’s quietly grown into an impressive business, with a lot of different operations but one in particular has caught Steve D’s eye.
