Happy Holidays, Mets fans! We've got another action-packed edition of Pleasant Good Evening to help you start off your week strong.
This week, we talk through the three press conferences the Mets held last week. Were we impressed by Jared Porter? And what does the forward communication signal to us as fans?
We also talked about Michael Wacha signing with the Rays. We're not mad he won't be a Met. We're just curious to see how the Rays fix him. Stick around for amazing analogy we use.
We also break down the recent trade rumors. Do we want Nolan Arenado? How do we approach the Reds potential fire sale?
And Sunday was also David Wright's birthday. We talk about what the Captain means to us.
All of that before one of our favorite remembering guys segments so far! Enjoy the episode, Mets fans! Be sure to follow us on Twitter @PGEPod_MMO for more content!

Happy Monday Mets fans! It's the 15th episode of your favorite Mets podcast and there was lots to talk about this week!
Jack and I first talked about last week's non-tender deadline in which the Mets hung on to four players and cut loose four more. We give our thoughts and bring back Hot or Not to discuss the slew of new free agents who got let go last week.
Then we talk about new Mets reliever Trevor May and why we are both so high on the signing. We also think it would be neat to have Trevor on the podcast. Let's make that happen.
After that, we discuss the Mets catching situation in light of the recent James McCann four-year-contract rumors. We both have opinion, as does my cat. You'll know what I mean when you listen.
We finish out the week by talking about the Phillies crying poor (again) and remembering some guys!
Enjoy, Mets fans! We'll see you next week. Remember to keep it locked on our Twitter @PGEPod_MMO for some more fun content!
Welcome back to another episode of the Pleasant Good Evening Podcast, Mets fans! It was a terribly slow news week, but Jack and I did our best to fill the episode!
This week, we talked about the Mets search for a General Manager now that they have pivoted away from looking for a President of Baseball Operations, and why the search has gone so poorly.
We also talk about the divisive black jerseys and where we stand on them. Spoilers: Jack and I share a consensus on them. If you disagree, let us know by screaming at our Twitter account (@PGEPod_MMO).
We also talked about Charlie Morton signing with the Braves and ended the episode by remembering some guys and gloating about the Phillies publicly crying poor. Enjoy, Mets fans!
Hello and happy Monday, Mets fans! It's another episode of your favorite Mets podcast! This week, Jack and Sam discuss all the latest news in Metsland.
We start with the news of Robinson Cano being suspended for 2021 after a positive PED test and what that means to the team and the payroll. We also talk about where Steve Cohen should throw all of his money this offseason.
We also play our own version of 'Hot or Not' in which we talk about some of the second-tier free agents and decipher if they are fits for the Mets.
Then we break down the Mets' signing of right-hander Sam McWilliams to an MLB contract. We give you some background on McWilliams and info on what to expect and why the Mets signed a guy who has never thrown a Major League pitch.
To finish things off, we talk about some of our favorite Steve Cohen tweets from the past week before remembering some guys as always. Enjoy the episode and have a great week, Mets fans!
Happy Monday, Mets fans! Pleasant Good Evening is back with another hot, fresh episode. This week, Jack and Sam are joined by the incredibly talented Jacob Resnick to talk all things Mets and Minor Leagues.

With Jacob, we discuss how he first got involved in covering the Mets' farm system and how his jobs have changed since the pandemic began.
We also talk about the minors contracting teams, what that means, why Rob Manfred is doing it, and what it means for the Mets.
And we get Jacob's thoughts on the Mets' current minor league system, which underrated prospects he loves, and what players to keep an eye on. Of course, we also remember some guys to close it out! Then, we get into the nitty gritty of this upcoming offseason. Specifically, what avenues the Mets should go with acquiring talent. We break down a potential Francisco Lindor trade, as well as how the team should address its problem areas.

Pleasant Good Evening is back! This time it's episode nine with MetsMerized's very own Tim Ryder! Jack (@jackhendon_) and I (@SamLebo14) welcome Tim to the party as we discuss Dodgers v. Rays and Mets playoff memories.
To start things off, we try our best to break down the madness of Saturday's World Series Game Four and the play the shall henceforth be known as the Brett Phillips Play. Tim had some opinions on what should have happened.
We do our best to preview Sunday's Game Five - as this episode was recorded a few hours before first pitch. With hindsight, we can now see which of us was right and which of us was wrong about the Tyler Glasnow versus Clayton Kershaw matchup.
