The Red Sox took 2 of 3 from the Royals in the most crucial series of the season (so far) thanks in part to Masataka Yoshida going on a rampage, and Kenley Jansen returning from an achy back. Romy Gonzalez also went bananas at one point. It was a nice overall series W but that didn't stop Hogdale from giving Kutter Crawford his team leading fourth poop sock of the season. All this and more!

A lot of offense as the Red Sox take 2 of 3 against the Rangers, not much pitching. Ed, Hogdale, and Justin break it all down and also go over Hogdale's ongoing disappointment with the stamina of the starters, and who (if anyone) the team can or should trade from the outfield mix. Intrigued? Then it's time to listen to Pod by the River!
Just two BFFs in this one doing BFF stuff. Ed and Hogdale go over the trade deadline, an epic series against Seattle, and get sidetracked to fight over whether or not Corbin Burnes is worth $280 million/8 years and general philosophy over how a team should go about acquiring pitching. Intrigued? Then its time to listen to Pod by the River!
After another frustrating series loss marked by bullpen meltdowns (this time to the Yankees) Hogdale, Ed, and Justin discuss just what they want Craig Breslow to do with the trade deadline 48 hours away, what he's done so far, and in their heart of hearts what they really think is going to happen.

In easily the most chaotic episode of the season, Ed, Hogdale, Steve, and surprise guest Lady Red Sox gloss over a disastrous series in Colorado that was totally overshadowed by the surprise extension of manager Alex Cora followed by Craig Breslow declaring the Red Sox deadline buyers. Hogdale goes on an epic rant about Garrett Crochett after Ed declares him a diva, before the gang answers YOUR mailbag questions. Even Ed's dad gets in on the action making a cameo at the very end. Intrigued? Then it's time to listen to Pod by the River!
The Dodgers swept the Red Sox. Not very cool! Justin, Ed, Hogdale, and special guest Caleb Storms (aka BallParkBuzz) have a good time figuring out what trades the team needs to make to stay in the playoff race. Hogdale also gives out an epic Trust-O-Meter reading you won't want to miss. Intrigued? Then it's time to listen to Pod by the River!
Just Ed and Hogdale in this nearly two-hour episode. Somehow all killer, no filler.
Hogdale and sexy new weekday cohost Steve Scott have a friendly conversion about the Red Sox series against the Oakland A's which saw them take 2 of 3 with just one series to go before the All-Star break. Chaos ensues. Intrigued? Then it's time to listen to Pod by the River!
Ed and Justin are joined by Emily Nyman of Breaking Balls Pod to go over a thrilling Red Sox/Yankees series that harkened back to a more intense age of the rivalry. Masataka Yoshida's season altering homer, new Yankee villain Ben Rice's rampage, Raffy Devers' boogeyman status, and whether or not Nestor Cortes has a very specific porn collection that he is very proud of ala Hideki Matsui are just a few topics the trio goes over. Intrigued? Then it's time to listen to Pod by the River!
The Red Sox appear to be for real this season as the go into a season high eight games above .500. For the first time in a while, Hogdale, Ed, and Brady are all together to breakdown a fun if slightly stressful at the end series. After a sexy yet family friendly reunion, the guys touch on the growth of Ceddanne Rafaela, Brayan Bello's confidence level, and much, much more. Intrigued? Then it's time to listen to Pod by the River!
