The original question was: You have mentioned the sovereignty of God and the freewill of man on your podcast. How can these two things coexist together? In our study today, we will be examining several interesting phrases that are said about the humanity of Jesus, all of which pertain in some way to His being our High Priest. We try to understand what this means, and more specifically, what it means to us. We talk about how He had tears, strong crying, fear, and how He was 'made' perfect. All of these statements have something to do with the flesh of Christ.
In our Q&A segment, we have 2 questions that we answer, which were sent in by our listeners.
The first one is: Why did Jesus leave 12 baskets of food after feeding the 5,000, and only 7 baskets of food after feeding the 4,000? Is there any meaning to these numbers?
The second question is: Many of the vegans and vegetarians today cite Gen. 1:29, and say that God never gave man an allowance to eat meat, but He did okay mankind to eat herbs... what do you say to this?
