In today's episode, we read where the Levitical priesthood was weak and unprofitable to help us. The made nothing perfect, but we see that Jesus brought us a better hope that did make things perfect. Jesus was made a High Priest by God through an oath, while the other priests were made so by men. We see that Jesus guarantees us our better hope by a better testament. We also learn that Jesus has an unchangeable priesthood, which means He can and will help us.
In our Q&A segment, we give an answer to the question: I have noticed the East mentioned often in the Bible, what is so important about the East?
We hope you enjoy listening!

Our last three episodes were Christmas-themed, but we resume our study in Hebrews today.
We will be looking at several different elements of the priesthood, at how Levi paid tithes to Melchizedek long before he was even born, and the lack of perfection within the old priesthood.
This leads the writer to say the priesthood had to be changed, and since the priesthood had to be changed, the law had to be changed as well.
We finish up by talking about how Jesus was not born through the tribe of Levi, but rather the tribe of Judah.
In our Q&A segment, we are asked: Adam and Eve only messed up one time, doesn't their punishment seem a little harsh?
We believe today's study will be of much interest to our listeners!

In today's episode, we look at a very serious side of the Christmas story. This study will present a challenge to all who listens to it. We firmly believe that Christmas happened for a definite reason. We want to point people to that reason... and His name is Jesus Christ!
In our Q&A segment today, we answer a question from a listener in Oklahoma who asks: In 1Pet. 4:18 we read: '... and if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?'
We call a friend for help with this question, and we look deeply into this passage.
Grab some Christmas cookies and a cup of milk, and sit back to enjoy today's program!

This is the second installment of Systematic Theology with our special guest, Bro. Chris Lee.
Our topic today is on the Existence of God. We will be explaining how man can know that there is a God. We also believe that we can know who God is as well. We try to concentrate on some of the proper ways to view God, and we will detail some of the proper beliefs we should have concerning God.
We invite you to come along with us in today's episode!

In this episode, we do an in-depth study on what we know about Melchizedek. We dig into his life, how he was a priest, and how his priesthood compares to the priesthoods of Aaron and Levi. We study much of what the Bible says about Melchizedek, which isn't very much, but what it does say is pretty fascinating. We also compare the priesthood of Melchizedek with the priesthood of Christ.
In our Q&A segment, we are faced with the task of answering: Isn't the church called the House of Prayer in the Bible?
Today's study will be full of information and we will traverse many trails before we are through, so put on your hiking shoes and come along with us!

In our study today, we learn about the immutability of God's counsel. Then we uncover the truth that it is an impossibility for God to lie. We also see how we are now heirs to the promises. We learn that this knowledge should cause us to lay hold on the hope that is set before us. This hope is referred to as 'the anchor of our souls' by the author of Hebrews.
We finish up with a concise study of Melchizedek at the end... in other words, we cover quite a few topics today!
In our Q&A segment, we were asked: Why does Jesus make a big deal out of calling someone a fool in Matt. 5:21-22?
We believe you will be missing out on a lot of good things if you don't join us in this episode... so why don't you just go ahead and do it!

Today's episode is another installment of our special editions! This study is based off of a question sent in by one of our faithful listeners. The listener had a few questions regarding 1Cor. 7:1, and what all the statement 'it is good for a man not to touch a woman' might mean.
We felt this was a good topic to deal with, especially considering relational issues are foremost in many problems we face in our day.
We hope that you all enjoy our foray into this highly thought-provoking passage!

Today, we look at the writer's summary of the first 6 verses found in vv. 7-9. This greatly helps our understanding of those verses. The writer tells us that he expects better things than this out of his audience. He also reminds us to keep our full assurance of faith unto the end. We are to do this in order to obtain the promises. While speaking of the promises, he goes back to Abraham and the promises that God gave to him. We cover a good bit of ground in this episode!
In our Q&A segment, we answer this question: Someone told me that the word 'resurrection' is not found in the Old Testament... is this true?
