General Conference 2020 (in 2024) is finally over, after 2 weeks of committee meetings and delegation Rev. Daniel Hawkins meets up with Rev. Edlen Cowley and Rev. Philip Rhodes, members of delegation for the North and Central Texas Conferences of the UMC. This week on Pod Strangely Warmed Rev. Daniel Hawkins is joined by Rev. Ramon Smith from Saginaw UMC and Shandon Klein from FUMC Richardson, all three are new delegates preparing for the upcoming General Conference 2020 in 2024. Shandon and Ramon's decision to become delegates was influenced by watching the 2019 General Conference Special Session and wanting to work towards reducing harm within the United Methodist Church, especially for underrepresented voices.
