Each Happy Hobby Sports Card Podcast episode has a handful of great sports card subjects, helping sports card collectors working with limited budgets!
⚾🏈🏀 The 5 Faces/Phases of Card Collecting!
You don’t have to be a sports card shop owner to be successful in card collecting, but there are different phases we all seem to go through, as we try to build our collection.
First, we’re new to the game, so we make many mistakes we hope to iron out before too long. Then we figure it out — but maybe we leave the game for a bit, only to return years later, as a re-newbie!
Whether you consider yourself an investor, a value collector, a flipper, or a focused card collector, there are pitfalls to avoid and tips to enjoy!
Also, we have our resident Happy Hobbyist sports card designer, Alan Camuto come in and share his thoughts on the awesome 1962 Topps Baseball card design! From the wood design, to the curled poster, to the orange and black card back — he covers it all!
