Each “Happy Hobby Sports Card Newsletter” pack has a handful of great sports card subjects, helping sports card collectors working with limited budgets – like me!
One of the most exciting times of the baseball season is the possible player movement before the MLB Trade Deadline — which is Tuesday, July 30, at 6pm ET.
Our Patrick Imhoff looks at seven six players who might get traded before the deadline, which means different things for collectors. Some players’ rookie cards will get a little boost, depending on where they land, but some prospects who get traded back for a star might become more valuable because of an increased chance of starring in the majors sooner than later.
Randy Arozarena was already traded from Tampa Bay to Seattle, for Aidan Smith and two other players! What do we think of that!?!
Patrick Imhoff’s newsletter can be found here — check it out when you can! He does some great Thrifty Thursday articles to help us know which prospect and rookie cards we should target!
In this podcast, we also go over how we feel about great youngsters who get busted for Performance Enhancing Drugs! Do we still target their cards? Do we avoid them?
Finally, we head to Pittsburgh to see another great Card That Makes Us Happy — 1973 Topps Roberto Clemente!
