Welcome to Safe Dividend Investing, Podcast # 80, on September 7 of 2022.  in addition to answering the usual 5 questions, from investors, I will begin reading from Chapter 11 of my first investment book, Income and Wealth from Self-Directed Investing. This means skipping Chapter 7,8,9, and 10 which require you sitting in front of a computer terminal following my guidelines on how to choose and buy the stocks for your portfolio. 

Chapter 11's title is “On Being Frugal” . More than one reader of this book has suggested that this chapter should be taught to teenagers before they get their first credit card.
