On this episode of Connected By Water®, we sit down with Joe Grote and Alan Frye from Scuba 4 Good, along with Katie Anderson, Events Manager for City of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, to discuss the incredible impact adaptive diving is having across South Florida.
Scuba 4 Good’s mission is to make adaptive diving more accessible for adults, children, and veterans living with disabilities by partnering with local dive shops, instructors, and nonprofit organizations. Since 2016, the Scuba 4 Good Music Festival, held in collaboration with Lauderdale-by-the-Sea’s annual “Dive Into Summer” event, has become the largest fundraising effort supporting adaptive diving in South Florida.
Joe, Alan, and Katie share the story behind the organization, the growth of the festival, and why this partnership means so much to the community. This episode highlights the power of connection, community support, and giving more people the opportunity to experience the underwater world.
Please listen, watch, and subscribe to help support the amazing work Scuba 4 Good continues to do for those who need it most.
