Opinion
Your domain name does not instill confidence (as they are less than $20 a year and you can purchase one, and point it at your weebly site). For the record, I'm not sure what an Expat is (ex-veteran?) So I'm not sure what a virtual expects. The other larger issue is you have a serious Popping P's (plosive) issue that can be very easily fixed by getting a windscreen or a popfilter for your microphone and work on your mic technique. With so many podcasts to listen to, you can't have audio that is this annoying. You have probably 8-20 pops in the first few minutes. For me, that's a deal breaker. It is way to easy to fix with $5-$20 worth of gear and 10 minutes practicing.

The intro has some pretty harsh starts and stops, and at the end of the advertisement, you didn't tell me where to get whatever the product was you were selling. Your audio is not great as you have some plosives (typically due to poor microphone placement - try saying happy peanut butter cakes and if that doesn't cause any plosives you should be good to go). I thought your first question was too open-ended and it allowed the guest to go into all sorts of tangents. Likewise your second question (when did you first garden) was a better question, but I think the show could benefit from editing out anything that doesn't pertain to your show topic (politics and a geography lesson doesn't help me grow a better garden)

I can't tell if this show is supposed to put me to sleep (the somewhat childlike intro music) or if it is really a show for math nerds. I like the intro, and you got right to the point. Your delivery is very reserved and could use a little more energy. You're also obviously reading, but it is math. Just realize this is very, very dry material and for that reason, only the most enthusiastic math nerd will stay tuned in to your episode.
Also, I see where you have a subscribe link on your page, if you go to settings > edit show settings and enter those link and click save, it will add subscribe links to your podcast page

I liked the intro, although you had somewhat of an "announcer voice" going on (it didn't sound natural) then when you started talking about ISM your passion came through. Just talk to me like I'm across the table. I like that you explained what ISM is. I liked that you shared a little bit about yourself in telling a story (you were in the navy) without taking the story into a wrong direction. So what was the problem? You have a serious popping P problem. Say the words, "Happy Peanut Butter Cakes" into the microphone. If your mic technique is wrong, you will hear what is called "plosives" which sound bad. because you kept using the word independent, that P kept causing a plosive. Because there were so many, it really became distracted. Check out http://www.podcastrodeoshow.com/podcast-gear/ for recommending windscreens and pop filters.
This show had potential, but in my opinion, you mic technique got in the way. Also, you have all of your information in Libsyn. Go ahead and submit your show to Apple, Spotify, etc.

The intro took forever to get to the actual story. I really liked your audio quality, your voice. The setup of the theme seems to take forever to get through. You then go into quite a whole section of begging for subscribers (I would do this mid-show, or after you have given them something to share. At this point as a new listener, why would I share your show? Then you pause for a break. The music stops abruptly, and then you come back. What was the point of that? Then you partially repeat the stuff you just said before FINALLY getting to a ghost story.
I like the audio, the artwork, but I would ask for subscribers later in the show and get to the story. If there isn't an advertisement, don't stop for a break (that was just weird). This show is well produced and with a little straightening up, could go places. Your website could use some work (8 million buttons, you might work in a menu system)

One of the worst ways to start off a podcast is with an apology. Anyone listening months later does not care that you missed an episode. Also, if you're going to drop multiple F-Bombs in the first few minutes of a show listed in the KIDS & FAMILY category, you might consider putting in a disclaimer for those parents who might be listening with their kids.

Your description is stuffed with tons of keywords and very little value. What is your show about, what can I expect, and what is in it for me. Apple doesn't like it when you market in your description. Let your podcast ask for the sale (don't do it in your description - these people haven't clicked play yet, why are you asking for the sale?). I'm not sure people care about the charities (again, talk about that on your website or in the show). You keep quoting yourself in your description. That may turn off people overseas (Americans are known for promoting themselves a ton). It does put off a certian vibe (I expected you to sell heavy in the episode - thankfully - at least at the beginning you didn't.
Your voice is unique. People are either going to love it or hate it. You're going to have to be OK with that. Your show pulled me in. I liked the way you brought me in. Everyone can identify with one of your questions. I was getting slightly impatient with OK, we all have issues, now what?
For a first episode, this was pretty good. I listened to four minutes and I was willing to listen to more.

The intro music was too long. I liked the intro you let the audience know what the show was about and what to expect on the episode. You get right to the content. I might have an issue telling you to apart (so you might want to pan someone slightly left and someone slightly right). I don't know if this was on purpose or natural, but someone's voice has a little more bass.
I loved the conversational tone of the show, but at one point you started to describe the episode and I would bet that this was written out as you started to speed up, and your tone had a "hurry and get through it" tone so you can get back to talking. This is not a huge deal, but you did such a good job of being loose but focused and having a conversation keep the conversational tone going forward.
I've never watched this show, but you made me want to watch an episode. All in all a good first impression and if I watched this show I'd probably listen to this episode.

Great audio quality and the intro had potentially a little TOO MUCH energy (very close to obnoxious DJ guy), just talk like yo normally talk with a tad bit more energy. You didn't really explain who your guest was or why you were excited to have him on the show. Your first two questions were about the guest (that nobody knows, or cares about) and you finally get to a car question later. i would open with a car question and late get into the guest's life before cars.
