Your guest introduction took a tangent into the party you met her at (and we don't need those details). You say she makes opportunities out of nothing. How about an example to pull me in? You seemed to be very focused on her Tesla, is that the core reason you brought her on? I would really give me a detailed blurb to get me excited about your guest.I thought the audio quality was good, and I liked your style (not scripted just talking to the audience and your guest).

I like the introduction of the show. It let me know what the show was about, and you did a good job of letting us know what the episode was about, but when you come on your audio is too low, and it sounds like you're about four feet from the microphone. I see where you are using a podcasting company to help you. Whoever they are, they are (in my opinion) either giving really bad advice or you are ignoring their advice.It sounds like you are using a Blue Yeti microphone and you're too far away (I recommend the Audio Technica ATR2100 with a windscreen see my gear). That's the good news, most of the mistakes I see are very easy to fix (and outside the scope of this "first impressions) service. The show has potential, and with a little guidance and some polish, could be a good show.

Your show description is super detailed, the introduction of your show is super detailed, your introduction of yourself was detailed (but not the point of extreme), but then when you went to introduce your guest, instead of pulling out the parts that would be important to your listeners, you read a very detailed resume of your guest. Then when I finally think you're going to get to the guest, you start reading (what I'm going to assume was a long) listener message. You assume everyone knows your guest. This can put off those that don't. Then besides that, she was a photographer, you didn't really explain why she was on the show. Build up your guest and get me excited they are on the show. Then you started thanking people who donated. I understand why you want to do this, but for new people, this is boring. We don't know these people (or care). If the thought is you want to thank them first so they hear it - these are your super fans who listen to the end. The intro music at the beginning is a little long (put some voice over on it). The audio was clear. I loved that you mentioned you had audio from the Bolton house (you can't get that any place else). I thought the part where you had a brain fart explaining you were experts could've been edited down to make you sound a whole lot smarter. You also both sound alike. When mixing down the episode if possible pan one person slightly right and the other left, and occasionally use each other's names (What did you think about that Jess?). You need a website address, a microphone for each host, and (IMHO) a little focus on tightening up your letters, but this has potential. I'm not sure if you could consolidate the topics in your table of content into what type of stories (so instead of talking about so and so along with whoever, consolidate into "the latest player updates." I liked how the episode started (although for me, you could use some bass in your intro) but you did GREAT explaining what the show was about, getting to you, and then you did a very brief introduction of Danny saying he did a podcast and the name of the podcast. That's who he is (which later then repeated) Why are YOU - HOWARD excited to have Danny on. You know your audience, tell us the stuff that we need to know. Our guest today has a podcast, he speaks all over the world, and I'm bringing him on today to talk (TOPIC) please welcome Danny. Then instead of "tell me about yourself" (which your guest has no idea where to start) give them a question that immediately gets them going in the direction you want the interview to go. Maybe "When did you know you were going to join the military" or something military related.I don't care where he came from or his wife and kids at the beginning of the interview (I might at the end - maybe). Get to something that is going to grab your audience and start to pull them in. You can ask these questions to warm your guest up (and then cut them out) You can have it be "Danny thanks for coming on the show and go right to question three "Did you always know you were going to join the military?"
