You did kind of a "hooray he's not from USA" which being from the USA I found a bit weird (I get your wife is from Canada). You didn't get me excited about your guest, and then basically read his resume with him. He occasionally had to correct you (twice) which made you look ill-prepared. If the idea of the show is to position you as an expert, this won't help.I would ask, "Is all of this background needed? Couldn't you have read the businesses he's started and sold in his intro, and then get into the things that are NOT on his LinkedIn profile? As a podcast what makes a good podcast is when you get content you CAN'T get anyplace else. Also, the name of your show being one-word DealMakers may hinder your ability to be oud as people may be looking for Deal Makers.

- Get to the story. All the talk about reviews and such should be reserved for your super fans who stay to the end, so put that housekeeping stuff there.
- The clip that started off the show didn't make you appear very intelligent and it was long. (Dressing up at a cemetery).
- There is no way to sample your show at www.linktr.ee/casketsandcocktails I find that annoying. I want to click play before subscribing.
- Apple doesn't like it when you put links outside of Apple (all your links in your description)

The music was a bit long, but I liked when you came on and jumped right in. You are talking to me, and not reading to me, and it seems very conversational. You did almost lose me as you kept talking about what you would be talking about. At some point, you need to get to the details. I did have a bit of issue hearing you when you first started (music was a little low). I did like the stats you started with. It really caught my attention. There was a bit retrospective so I understand why you were taking a bit to get to the details and that's fine. You do like the phrase paradigm shifting as you used it alot. I do like that when you got to increasing profitability, then you got to the steps by step on how to do that. Instead of reading their bio, why not tell me why you are excited to have them on your show? Tell me what you're going to talk about. Between the dismal introductions, and you varied volume levels and muffled audio, this was not a great first impression.BONUS: You only have a link to Apple (80% of Europe has an Android phone). The link you have doesn't go to your show.

You had the girl with the phone say she needed help. The volume is ALL OVER THE PLACE. When Tarzan actually spoke he blew out my ears. When you mixed in the motorcycle sound, I could no longer hear what was being said. I'm glad you are OK after your accident, but that story would be better used at the end of the show instead of starting off the show with an apology. I waited as long as I could, but I was a good three and a half minutes in and I still didn't know what the episode was about, and you had not got to the meat of the show. This was not a great first impression.I would get close to the microphone, get a mixer, and turn off the fan in the background. Make sure your recording levels are somewhere between -6 and -12. I wanted to hear what you said about my show, but you never got to it. I would also go to www.coolerwebsites.com and get a domain and point it at your podbean site. I also believe there are ways to have podbean automatically put an Apple button on your site (instead of the links)

- Buy everyone talking their own microphone and either a mixer or a USB interface (see the Podcast Gear Page)
- Explain what the show is about followed by what you'll be talking about on your episode.
- tell me why you're excited to have the guest on your show.

You explain what the show is about, and then what you would cover in the episode. You did a good job of explaining how to subscribe and then got right to the content. Then after the introduction explained what the show is, you did again (quickly, just an FYI). Then after explaining what was coming on the show before the subscription part, you explained again what was going to be on the episode (not needed). Then when you bring in your co-host you use the "two people - one microphone" recording technique and it really makes your audio take a turn for the worse. You can easily buy two microphones and a mixer or a Focusrite interface and boost your audio quality.Then the conversation sounds a little like you're not sure where you are going. I would advise you both know what points you want to make and then share the bullet points so you can keep the show moving. It sounds a bit like a planning session with alot of "I don't know," or "I didn't see that." You shouldn't be finding this out with the recorder going. While I understand you want this to be a conversation (and I admire that), I would still have a clear idea of where you were going, what points of view you wanted to share, and then start recording. The current version seemed a little lost.

There was a fair number of ums, coughs, teeth sucking, that could easily be edited out. You get to the story a fair amount in and you let your listener know your quest was so depressed she couldn't read or write, and now that is what she is doing for a living. Don't burry this lead, and bring it to the front to entice people to listen.You somewhat have the curse of knowledge that you both know each other very well, and somewhat assume the audience knows as much as you do. There was a bit of a compliment competition where you both just complimented and re-complimented each other.
You are headed in the right direction and there are some easy things to tweak.
