Podjiba

Hello! Did you miss us? (We definitely missed us.) [as usual, SPOILERS in the shows we discuss] We catch up on the shows we watched over the holidays, and we were so excited we jump right in with The Stand (0:36)! Then, after we actually do our intro (13:32), we get into Bridgerton (25:42), Cobra Kai (44:41), and Sweet Home (1:05:50), before ending with a quick, poorly planned game (1:18:45)! Like the show? We're still off for the holidays, but for your listening: here's a bonus episode with Roxana where we talked about middle school and I think clothing for a while? I don't know. What I do know: it has nothing to do with television. See you all in 2021! Like the show? We're off for the holidays, but in this week's mini-episode, Roxana joined the crew and we all gifted each other shows to watch! Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season! Like the show? It's our final full show of the year! (Minisodes for the next two weeks) Roxana joins the crew once again as we go through our Senior Superlatives for the many, many Best Shows of 2020! And of course, at the end, only one show can be named the actual Best Show of 2020. Does our pick rhyme with Duh Fanfaforian? You'll have to listen to find out! Like the show? Tori's back! And you know she made us talk about Big Mouth! Before that, we start with the new Showtime show Your Honor (19:07), then get into Big Mouth (37:45) and how they worked in the casting change, and finally we get to The Mandalorian (52:58), because obviously. And of course, a game (1:08:10)! Like the show? Consider rating or reviewing us on iTunes or whatever podcast platform on which you listen (assuming they allow ratings and/or reviews)! So here's what you're not getting this week: 1. No Tori (power issues due to a storm!) 2. No Mandalorian (see item #1!) But here is what you DO get: Senior Hashtag Developer Roxana Hadadi is here to talk all sorts of finales, including 'The Great British Bake Off' (1:58), 'The Undoing' (21:50), and 'How To With John Wilson' (51:49). And she even gets us to start thinking about our potential best of the year nominees (1:03:03), as it is now the twelfth month of the year! Like the show? Quick! Let's get to the summary! A new segment: Welcome To Tori Talk! Where Tori teaches us dummies more things. This week, it's about one way Doctor Who became a huge hit in the US (16:00)! The Mandalorian, of course (30:23) Then, the Supernatural finale! (42:40) And a game Dustin borrowed straight from Parade Magazine! (1:09:43) Like the show? First off: no mints this week. Thankfully. On this week's show, we discover a new, very weird show in 'How To With John Wilson', get into some old favorites like 'Supernatural' and 'The Mandalorian', and Dustin shares a 'Phineas and Ferb' theory by popular demand! Also, Dustin graciously gave us a game (1:01:17) this week, because my brain was unable to come up with something. For REASONS. Like the show? Did you know that there was television last week? In the event that you did, and you watched, as we did, there are a few things that were covered: we chat about nearing the endgame of 'Supernatural', we spent a long time talking about last week's 'SNL' and specifically, Dave Chappelle's performance, and we briefly head over to 'Fear The Walking Dead' before we end up, of course, back at 'The Mandalorian'! We also play a game (1:13:16)... ...and look, there's a shocking reveal at the end of the episode. It may be the most shocking thing that's happened on Podjiba. You really shouldn't listen to it. And if the episode is too long to get there, you really shouldn't jump to (1:28:04) to get there. Like the show? While we remain a TV podcast, things are certainly happening in the world, yes? And we hope you are okay, wherever you are. This week, it's 'The Mandalorian', obviously. Tim Olyphant! Amy Sedaris! Baby Yoda! [redacted]! Also, we play a game about, you know, that show (40:51)! Like the show?
